Yoga for Pelvic Health & Pain. What is Yoga for Pelvic Health & Pain? Many aren't aware that there are poses and sequences that focus primarily on the pelvis. We often here in a yoga class that a pose will engage or help strengthen our pelvic floor although some of us are looking for the opposite! In this class, we use breath, movement & alignment to flow through our sequences. We learn to pay attention to our bodies, listen and learn the signals it sends you so you know if the movement is just right or a little too much.
Restorative Yoga Restore. Relax. Revive. Restorative Yoga is a practice of asanas that are held for longer than in your traditional yoga flow. We slow things down, pull out all the props so that you can settles into your pose and allow yourself to melt. Give your muscles, tendons and tissues some time to stretch & relax. Allow your mind to follow your body's lead and allow it to relax, let it melt. This class will bring you relaxation, mind-body awareness and connection.
Meditation Meditation is both a state of being and a practice. Meditation helps bring the body and mind into the same place at the same time. There are different types of meditation such as, but not limited to, Mindfulness Meditation, Guided Meditation, Visualization, Loving Kindness, and Mantra Meditation. There is no wrong way to meditate. All you need to do is show up for yourself, set aside 10 minutes in your day, find a peaceful corner, allow yourself to be present and meditate.
